At the invitation of the local government,
In the Shangri-La, Yunnan Province, more than 3,500 meters above the sea level,
We restored a 1,200-meters-long creek running through the new city and the old town.
The drainage ditch had been a pristine creek before. 
Sewage pipelines were reorganized, and
Dull concrete walls removed,
And banks became zigzagging again as they used to be.
We transplanted 5,000 native trees and built three pedestrian bridges,
Including one pinewood bridge designed according to local tradition,
Leaving an idyllic reflection on the water.
