A Promenade that can be Read

TPPO
TOPO

The promenade connects the urban center
and the racing event place for 2008 Olympic Sailing Regatta.
The design intensifies the connection
with the 3 meters wide thin water layer
that flush with the pavement through the whole promenade
with only broken point at the space of the center plaza
which is the joints of the building spaces.
In the thin water layer are kinds of fantastic water jets.
Also the information about the gold medals
and the names of all the Olympic Sailing events of the history
will be engraved on the surface
that could be very dramatic at night with lighting
and will attract people to read and understand the sailing race history.
