An Art Space under the Canopy of Ancient Trees

TPPO
TOPO

Zhujiajiao in Qingpu is the best preserved water town in Shanghai.
The Fine Arts Museum is located at the entrance of the ancient town,
With two 470-years old ginkgo trees at its gate.
The 1,800-m2 museum
Displays paintings and other art works related with the history of Zhujiajiao.
The terrace on the roof follows the simple and elegant design style.
The outdoor art space under the canopy of ancient trees,
Is a place for locals and tourists to play and relax.
We introduced traditional style of the ancient town into the design of plaza and courtyard.
Black tiles, blue bricks, zigzagging corridors,
And households surrounded by flowing streams.
