Before designing the new Memorial Museum,
Pei Partnership Architects paid a special visit to the descendants of the Song family in New York,
To correctly understand and interpret the Song family.
For landscape, the storyline is interwoven with the space,
To provide a narrative visiting experience.
The starting point of the visitor is withdrawn further to the bridge in the south,
Which enables them to have enough time to adjust their breathing and senses.
After crossing the bridge, the visitor walks along linear water bodies and tree lines.
Through a narrow corridor, the visitor will arrive at an enclosed Reflection Square
After reflection, the visitor will then come to the museum.
On the western side of the museum,
Is a dense grove of high trees with big crowns.
Walking on the wooden trestle under the trees,
Is another experience in the visit to the museum and park.
